ROOTED IN MOTION – YOGA & PILATES RETREAT

Rooted in Motion is a Yoga & Pilates retreat that blends conscious movement, strength and mobility with the calm and spaciousness of the alpine landscape. Surrounded by the mountains of Kaprun, a space unfolds for arrival, deep breathing and renewal.

Flowing yoga and Pilates sessions enhance stability, flexibility and body awareness, while moments of relaxation and stillness allow for deep regeneration. June provides the perfect setting for this experience: long days, crisp mountain air and an atmosphere balancing fresh energy with summery lightness.

Guided hikes through the alpine scenery complement the retreat, creating a harmonious interplay between movement and rest. A special highlight is the yoga session on the summit – practicing with panoramic mountain views fosters a profound connection between breath, body and nature.

Rooted in Motion is designed for everyone who loves movement while also seeking inner balance, grounding and relaxation. All sessions are suitable for all levels.

MIRJAM – Yoga · Pilates · Barre | Mirjam is a certified yoga, Pilates and barre teacher with over 400 hours of training and advanced education in yoga, Pilates, barre, Yin Yoga and breathwork. For her, movement is an expression of presence, strength and inner balance.

Her teaching combines dynamic, flowing sequences with conscious alignment and moments of deep relaxation. Influenced by Inside Flow, she creates sessions that are powerful, accessible and calming at the same time – always with a focus on reconnecting with oneself.

Rooted in Motion was born from this philosophy: movement should strengthen, center and connect – on the mat as well as in the mountains, which hold a special place of power for Mirjam.

99% of our retreats take place as planned. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness of the teacher), or if the minimum number of participants is not reached (deadline: 10 days before arrival), we reserve the right to cancel the retreat, reschedule it, or provide a substitute teacher.
