Arrival
Rooms are available from 3 PM.
At check-in, a photo form of identification (passport, driving licence or personal ID card) and credit card is necessary for each guest.

Departure
Please vacate all rooms and suites by midday on your day of departure.
According to availability, we offer a late checkout option. Please find out about the possibilities available from our team at reception.
To avoid waiting times, you are welcome to settle your bill on the evening prior to your departure.

Bathrobes
Bathrobes are available for you at reception (deposit payable).

You will find bath towels for use in the Alpen.Veda.Spa in your room.

The nearest station is in Zell am See (7 km).

The Alpenhaus.Bar is open daily from 11 AM to midnight at the latest (according to demand).
Ironing service
We will happily take on any ironing requirements you may have from Monday to Friday up to 7 PM.
Please ask our team at reception. Fill in the laundry form (in the wardrobe in your room) and leave it together with the laundry in the laundry bag visibly in your room for our service ladies to collect.

Dry cleaning
We offer a dry cleaning service from Monday to Friday.

Mealtimes
We ask that you are seated by 8:30 PM at the latest in the restaurant.
Please do not wear bathrobes in the restaurant or bar area (with the exception of during the skier’s snack time in winter).
Electric car charging station
You can conveniently charge your e-car at our charging station for your exploration tours, subject to availability. You can get the service card at the hotel reception.

Mobile phones
Out of consideration for other guests, we ask that mobile phones remain switched off in the restaurant and wellness areas.
Pets
On prior arrangement, you are welcome to bring pets with you. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads in the hotel and in the hotel grounds.
For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed in the restaurant and wellness areas.
We charge a € 15,- general cleaning charge per animal per night, without food.

Internet
At reception you can pick up details for the free internet access in your room. The public areas in the hotel have Wi-Fi; the password is welcome# and the username Alpenhaus Guests.
Charges
In the Alpenhaus Kaprun, you enjoy the convenience of being able to charge extras in any areas of the hotel to your room number. Please don’t forget to check the charges for accuracy, and to sign where required, as later claims will not be considered.
Massages & beauty treatments
We are pleased to be able to arrange your desired well-being treatments with you directly at hotel reception, or via the Alpen.Veda.Spa reception. You will find details of the wide range offered by the Alpen.Veda.Spa in the brochure in your room.
Credit cards
We happily accept American Express, diners club, MasterCard or Visa for payments of a minimum of € 50,-.
No smoking hotel
The entire Alpenhaus Kaprun is a no smoking hotel.
Emergency exits
Please take note of the information on your room door, and the green and white emergency exit signs throughout the hotel area.
Local tourist taxes
The local tourist taxes are presently € 2,05 per person per night and are not included in the price of your room. These will be added to your bill on your departure.

There is a car park and underground parking at the hotel, for which a charge of € 12,- per parking space per night applies.
Smoking
The entire Alpenhaus Kaprun is a no smoking hotel. Smoking is however also permitted on balconies and terraces.
Restaurant
Our restaurant is open at the following times:
Breakfast: 7 AM to 11 AM
Evening meal: 6:30 PM to 9 PM
Dress code for evening meal: sporty casual, appropriate for the hotel
We offer our large menu selection between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, and between 6:30 PM and 9 PM.
We offer a smaller selection between 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM in our afternoon menu at the hotel bar.

Ski cellar with boot dryer
We have a ski cellar with boot dryer available to guests throughout the duration of their skiing holidays in Kaprun at the Alpenhaus Kaprun.
Please note that the right place for ski and snowboard boots to be stored is in the heated boot room; please do not take them up to your hotel room.

Cancellation conditions & cancellation insurance
Book carefree! 100% security for your vacation!
Hotel booking is a matter of trust. We want you to be able to plan your vacation carefree and worry-free despite the current situation. This is why we offer you as a direct booker a quick and uncomplicated free cancellation of your booking * up to 2 days before arrival, if illness of one's own with Covid-19 (compulsory submission of the test result). Non-refundable rates can be rebooked.
Otherwise our guidelines specially tailored to the current situation apply:
Up to 7 days prior to arrival: free cancellation
Cancellation within 6 days prior to arrival incurs 90% of the total booking price
Cancellation less than 1 days prior to arrival incurs the entire booking price, as does leaving before the agreed departure date.
In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure 100 % of the entire stay will be charged.

Up to 14 days prior to arrival: free cancellation
Cancellation 13 up to 7 days prior to arrival incurs 70% of the total booking price
Cancellation 6 up to 3 days prior to arrival incurs 90% of the total booking price

Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. Your free Internet access for your room is available from reception, whilst in the public areas of the hotel, you can logon using the password welcome# and the username: Alpenhaus Guests.

This advantage card is valid for the duration of your stay and gives you free entry to 40 attractions in the holiday region of Zell am See Kaprun.

Room card
We would ask that you hand in your room key card in at reception on your day of departure. We must charge for € 5,- per card for any not returned.
